I spent over two decades in corporate leadership, honing skills in strategy, organizational development, and leadership.

As the first African American director in the claims department at Allstate Insurance Company, I broke barriers and learned invaluable lessons about perseverance and adaptability.

While these achievements were fulfilling, they also led me to ask deeper questions about meaning and purpose.

Everything changed when I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

This life-altering moment forced me to reevaluate my priorities and confront fears I had long ignored. It was a challenging, humbling, and ultimately transformative experience.

Cancer taught me to slow down, reflect, and redefine success—not by titles or accolades but by inner fulfillment and impact. As I healed, I realized that this journey wasn’t just about overcoming a diagnosis; it was about stepping into a new chapter of purpose.

Leaving the corporate world wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one. I felt called to use my experiences to help others navigate their own seasons of change. Transitioning into life coaching allowed me to combine my leadership skills with the empathy and wisdom gained from my personal challenges.
